Pricing
The mechanics matter more than the number.
Introductory pricing while we’re early. It goes up as the app grows — we don’t have a date.
Licensing isn’t live yet — this is the deal as it will ship, stated now so you can hold us to it.
- Two activations per license. Deactivate a machine yourself, anytime — no support ticket.
- The perpetual license never stops working. A lapsed year of updates does not disable the app.
- Nothing is metered. No per-note, per-minute, or per-seat billing.
- The free week is unlimited and needs no card. Activation sends a one-way fingerprint of your Mac — never your name, email, or notes.
Perpetual
$49
introductory · $149 list
- Buy once, use forever.
- Includes 12 months of updates.
- Optional $49/yr for updates & support after that — the app keeps working either way.
- Two activations; deactivate yourself.
Monthly
$9.99/mo
cancel anytime
- Same app, pay as you go.
- Periodic license refresh (a named exception — see specs).
- Your notes never lock if you cancel.
Requires a Mac with an Apple chip (M1 or later) and 16 GB of memory.
Records never lock — by design
Expired, cancelled, or never renewed — the notes you’ve made stay open, searchable, and exportable. Only new note generation pauses. Your records are not ours to switch off.
Frequently asked questions
If I stop paying, do I lose my notes?
No. Your notes, library, search, and export never lock. On expiry, only new note generation pauses — everything you already made stays open and exportable.
Is the introductory price a fake discount?
No. $49 is the real introductory price and $149 is the real list price it moves toward. You’ll never see a struck-through number that was never charged.
It says “introductory” — so when does it end?
We don’t know — and we’d rather say that than invent a date. The price goes up as the app does more. When it changes, it changes for new purchases only; if you bought perpetual, your price is locked.
How does licensing work without an account?
Your license will be a file that proves itself without contacting a server. No login, no password. Activation is one quick connection sending a one-way fingerprint of your Mac — named on the specs page as one of the exceptions. Licensing goes live with launch.
First version
Not out yet. One email when it is.
This first version does one thing: turn what you said into a clean note, without your words leaving your Mac. It will get better — and what you tell us shapes what’s next.
One email when it ships. No marketing list, no drip campaign — and if you ask, we delete your address sooner. What we hold and why.
Requires a Mac with an Apple chip (M1 or later) and 16 GB of memory.
Not sure? Apple menu → About This Mac. You’re looking for an Apple chip (M1 or later) and 16 GB or more of memory.
The AI that writes your notes runs entirely on your Mac, and it is big. That’s why you need 16 GB — the cost of nothing leaving the machine.
Older Mac, or not a Mac at all? Tell us what you’re on — it’s how we decide what to build next.
No account, no App Store.
